Verifeye is Cryptonow’s trusted partner for Video Ident, a live video verification method that connects you with a licensed identification agent. It ensures your identity is verified securely, quickly, and in full compliance with international KYC and AML regulations.

When you verify your Cryptonow account, you may be guided to Verifeye to complete the process. This identification is performed through a short, encrypted video call where your identity and documents are verified in real time. The entire process usually takes just a few minutes.


How it works

  1. Start verification from your Cryptonow account — you’ll be redirected to Verifeye’s secure identification page.

  2. Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone.

  3. A live verification agent will connect with you to confirm your identity.

  4. Show your National ID card or passport clearly on camera.

  5. Answer a few short questions and follow the agent’s instructions.

  6. You’ll receive a one-time password (mTAN) by SMS — enter it to complete the verification.

Once the process is finished, your account status will update automatically on the Cryptonow dashboard.

Technical requirements

  • Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari.

  • Firefox is not supported for Video Ident.

  • Ensure your internet connection is stable and your camera and microphone are working properly.

  • Works on both desktop and smartphone devices.

Security and data protection

All data and video sessions are handled by Verifeye, a licensed European KYC provider.
 The process is GDPR-compliant, and all video data is stored only for the legally required period.
Cryptonow receives only the verification result — no video or biometric data is permanently stored.
