How can I change my country tax residence?
If you move to another country or your tax residence changes, you must update this information in your Cryptonow account. Keeping your details current ensures your account remains compliant with international regulations and prevents service interruptions.
Changing your country of residence is more than just updating an address — it affects your tax and regulatory status. Cryptonow is required to maintain accurate residency data for all customers to meet financial and compliance standards. Updating your country ensures your account stays active and that you continue to have full access to our services.
Steps to change your country of residence
Log in to your Cryptonow account.
Go to «Settings» → «Compliance» → «Compliance Profile».
Click «Update Data».
Select your new country of tax residence from the dropdown list.
Update your tax number (if applicable)
Save your changes by clicking «Update Data».
Once updated, your new information will be reviewed by the compliance team. In some cases, additional information may be required before the update becomes effective.
Important information
Changing your country of tax residence may trigger a additional account verification review to ensure your profile meets regulatory standards in your new location. You may be asked to submit updated documents, such as:
Proof of residence in your new country (utility bill, bank statement, or rental agreement).
A valid ID or passport issued by your new jurisdiction.
Please note: If you move to a country on the official country risk lists (e.g., high-risk jurisdictions or if you become a US resident/taxpayer), your account cannot remain active due to regulatory restrictions.
In short
If your country of living and tax residence changes, update it immediately in your account settings. Be ready to provide proof of residence in your new country and complete a compliance review if needed. This ensures your Cryptonow account stays compliant and active at all times.
