How do I deposit crypto from another CASP provider?

Summary

You can deposit crypto from another CASP (Crypto Asset Service Provider) into your Cryptonow account by using the Receive feature. This provides your unique deposit address, which you then enter on the sending platform.

Depositing crypto from another provider works the same way as from a personal wallet. The sending CASP will ask you for the destination address — this is your Cryptonow deposit address. Some CASPs may also require additional details, like a Memo, Destination Tag, or Payment ID, depending on the asset.

Steps to deposit crypto from another CASP provider

  1. Log in to your Cryptonow account.

  2. Open your Portfolio.

  3. Click the «three dots» next to the crypto asset and select Receive.

  4. Copy your deposit address (or scan the QR code).

  5. Log in to your other CASP account (exchange or provider).

  6. Go to Withdraw/Send on the sending platform and paste your Cryptonow address (plus tag if required).

  7. Confirm the transfer on the sending CASP platform.

Important information

  • Always ensure the asset and network match (e.g., only send BTC to a Bitcoin address).

  • If a Memo/Destination Tag is required, failing to include it may result in lost funds.

  • Deposits require blockchain confirmations before being credited.

  • Transfers from non-compliant CASPs may be delayed or rejected.

In short

Depositing from another CASP is straightforward: use the Receive feature in your Cryptonow Portfolio, copy the address, and paste it into the sending platform. Double-check all details to ensure your funds arrive safely.
