How long does it take for my deposit to arrive?

Summary

The time it takes for your deposit to appear in your Cryptonow account depends on the payment method you use. SEPA transfers may take up to two business days, while Cryptonow Prepaid Cards are credited instantly.

Deposit times vary slightly depending on your bank and payment provider. Cryptonow processes incoming deposits immediately upon receipt, but some methods — such as SEPA bank transfers — rely on external banking systems. If you prefer instant access to your funds, Cryptonow Prepaid Cards are the fastest way to top up your account.


Typical processing times


SEPA bank payment (Same Day Payment where supported)

  • Usually credited within the same business day.

  • In some cases, it can take up to 1–2 business days.

  • Delays may occur on weekends, public holidays, or due to bank processing times.

SEPA Instant payment (Payment within seconds when supported)

If your bank supports SEPA Instant, your payment is processed within seconds, even outside banking hours or on weekends.

Availability depends on your bank — if SEPA Instant is not supported, the transfer will automatically fall back to a standard SEPA transfer.

Cryptonow Prepaid Card

  • Instant credit to your account.

  • Funds are available immediately after successful activation.

Deposit of Crypto Assets

  • Credited once the required number of blockchain confirmations is reached.

  • Processing time depends on network activity and congestion.

  • As soon as EU Travel Rule Requirements and Ownership Proofs are met. 


Credit card payment (coming soon)

  • Typically processed instantly, but in some cases may take a few hours.


Important information

  • Always use the correct IBAN and reference number in the reference text field of your eBanking interface when making a SEPA transfer.

  • If your SEPA deposit hasn’t arrived after 3 business days without hearing from us, contact your bank first.

  • For Prepaid Card deposits, make sure your activation code was entered correctly.

  • Blockchain network delays and missing Travel Rule Requirements can affect the crypto asset deposits.
