How do I send crypto to another CASP provider?

Summary

You can send crypto from your Cryptonow account to another CASP (Crypto Asset Service Provider) account of yours by using the Withdrawal function in your Portfolio. Make sure you use the correct blockchain and address provided by the receiving CASP platform / exchange.

Sending crypto to another CASP works much like sending to a personal, unhosted wallet.
The key difference is that exchanges and service providers often give you a specific deposit address, sometimes combined with a reference tag (like Memo, Destination Tag, or Payment ID).
It is essential to include these details correctly to avoid losing your funds.

Steps to send crypto to another CASP provider

  1. Open your Portfolio in your Cryptonow Invest® account.

  2. Click the «three dots» next to the asset and select «Withdraw».

  3. Enter the withdrawal amount.

  4. Paste the destination address provided by the receiving CASP.

  5. Select «Exchange/Provider» as the destination type.

  6. Enter the Name of the Exchange/Provider in the search list and select the provider.

  7. Please confirm again that you are sending the funds to another account owned by you.
Transfers to third-party accounts are not permitted.

  8. Review all details carefully and click «Start Withdrawal».

Important information

  • Due to the latest EU Travel Rule Regulations for Crypto Assets it is only allowed to withdraw crypto to a regulated CASP provider / exchange.

  • The receiving CASP may reject or delay the transaction. This is beyond Cryptonow’s control, and as a result, your withdrawal may also be delayed or declined during this process.

  • Always copy the exact address and any extra tags from the receiving CASP.

  • Missing or incorrect tags can cause funds to be lost or delayed.

  • Blockchain transfers are irreversible — once sent, they cannot be canceled or refunded.

  • Processing times depend on network confirmations and the receiving provider.
