Cryptonow GmbH is a European-licensed Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCAR) and is supervised by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).

In accordance with ESMA Public Statement ESMA35-1872330276-2329 dated 11 July 2025 and pursuant to the general conduct obligations set out in Article 66 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCAR), Cryptonow distributes gift cards as an unregulated ancillary service within the EU/EEA.

The gift cards may only be activated and used within the regulated Cryptonow platform and its associated services, which are operated in full compliance with MiCAR requirements and subject to applicable anti-money laundering obligations. The gift cards do not qualify as e-money. The value of a Cryptonow gift card may be redeemed exclusively via the Cryptonow platform for supported crypto-assets and services falling within Cryptonow’s MiCAR-regulated activities. Customers are reminded that the purchase of a Cryptonow gift card does not, in itself, constitute the acquisition of a crypto-asset. Ownership of the respective crypto-asset arises only upon activation of the gift card and the successful execution of the exchange via the regulated Cryptonow platform.
